Before he returned there, Our Man in Paris, Ric Erickson,
editor of MetropoleParis, took in a bit of New York, getting a feel for the five boroughs, not the usual twenty or so arrondissement et communes
de banlieues. And what should he run into Monday, 10 April? The day's massive rally in lower Manhattan of all the immigrants,
legal and not, and their supporters, saying it sure would be nice to be real Americans.
