At the Pacific Alliance Medical Center at the corner of Hill and College - one of the first hospitals in Los Angeles, built in 1898 to serve the city's French population living in that area at the time – the statue of Joan of Arc on the front lawn. Now the hospital is run by Chinese doctors for the community there.  Go figure.  But Saint Joan is there, not looking at all like Jean Seaburg in the old movie.

But the local metro station fits right in…

And you really are in Los Angeles, as you can usually see City Hall, the same one on Sergeant Friday's badge (714) on the old Dragnet show.
