When a member of the Just Above Sunset Los Angeles News Bureau got a chance to attend the press conference to announce the lineup for the 2006 Playboy Jazz Festival, he not only took pictures of the proceeding, he snapped some photos of the fabled location, which constantly brought to mind the famous jazz venue in New York City named Birdland.
