Monday, July 13, 2009 – Hazy Days

The hazy, lazy days of summer, in Los Angeles, means a long stretch of days where it's over one hundred in the shade at noon and the haze is petrochemical smog. The way to deal with it is to rise above it, which means a drive up to the Griffith Park Observatory high above Hollywood.  You can watch Hollywood and Los Angeles stew in the murk below you.
