Friday, March 5, 2010 – Crown Imperial

The year America peaked, when we were on top of the world, the best at everything, rich, brash, absurdly successful and the envy of the world, just before Vietnam and the slow decline – a 1964 Chrysler Crown Imperial parked, fittingly, at Detroit and First, south of Hollywood. Absurd excess used to be cool.
