The economy has collapsed. This is the fence at an abandoned transmission repair shop south of Wilshire on La Brea. The place folded long ago – it's now totally empty and perfectly quiet – and of course no one now takes care of the walls. But one man's failure is another man's blank canvas. The local explosion of street art out here is linked to hard times, generating lots of abandoned blank spaces.
