W. C. Fields said it My Little Chickadee – "On the whole, I'd rather be in Philadelphia." That's where he was born, and he liked to make fun of his dull-as-dirt home town, once he was out here and Hollywood and a big star. And there was this – "I once spent a year in Philadelphia. I think it was on a Sunday." But Philadelphia has changed, or was never really that bad a place. Our friend, the high-powered Park Avenue attorney, spent a Sunday there – May 30 this year. And it was kind of nice, as you see. |
