Yellow - at the Coast Playhouse, 8325 Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood –

LOST ANGELS THEATRE COMPANY, winner of the 2005 Ovation Award for Best Production for Killer Joe brings Los Angeles another disturbing look at how love gets under your skin, the Los Angeles premiere of the Obie award-winning, critically-acclaimed, smash-hit Off-Broadway play, BUG, written by Tracy Letts and directed by Scott Cummins...

The 2006 film version was finally released in the United States on 25 May 2007 - directed by William Friedkin, with Ashley Judd, Harry Connick Jr. and Michael Shannon. The film is "based on" the Tracy Letts play.

The sign is very yellow.


	Almost monochrome – Emser Tile on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood – if you're oddly suicidal and want to jump, like Mel Gibson did from up here in the 1987 Richard Donner film.




	There's lots of madness around here, like the billboard around the corner on La Cienega Boulevard –





	Look the other way – it's a wonderland, sort of, or a land of giants –

Most of these photographs were shot with a Nikon D70 - using lens (1) AF-S Nikkor 18-70 mm 1:35-4.5G ED, or (2) AF Nikkor 70-300mm telephoto, or after 5 June 2006, (3) AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor, 55-200 mm f/4-5.6G ED. They were modified for web posting using Adobe Photoshop 7.0. Earlier photography was done with a Sony Mavica digital still camera (MVC-FD-88) with built-in digital zoom.
