Tuesday, August 26, 2008 – Just a Bit Spooky

Yonada – 7653 Melrose Avenue at Stanley – and back in November 1968, if you watched the Star Trek episode "For the World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky" (unlikely), Yonada is the hollow world where the people inside don't realize their world is just an illusion, a fake, a machine. Yeah well, so was Star Trek, filmed a few miles east on Melrose, at Paramount Studios.

This is ominous, the eagle on top of the "Hungary, October 23, 1956" memorial at MacArthur Park –

How about the eagle on top of the clock in front of the News Orleans Building on Main in Santa Monica –

"I see dead people…" The late John Ritter on the side of the auditorium of Hollywood High School, where he was once a student –
