Friday, July 20, 2007 The End of Rose
Drive west toward the ocean on Palms Boulevard and turn right on Beethoven Street. Near the Santa Monica Airport, Beethoven curves left and turns into Rose Avenue. Rose runs straight through Venice and dead-ends at the beach. You'll find some good visuals at the end of everything.
Closed in 2005 the original Pioneer French Bakery, 512 Rose Avenue, Venice. But the rose remains.
The city planning hearing
Pursuant to Section 17.50 of the Municipal Code, a Vesting Tentative Tract Map involving a one lot subdivision for 75 residential condominium units and 5,179 square feet of commercial space on a 61,980 net square foot site in the C4-1 and RD1.5-1 zones.
