Two Views of Jersey
Flying into the Newark Airport (EWR) – now Newark Liberty International Airport – you get of view of New Jersey that makes it seem awful. It has something to do with all those tank farms and petrochemical operations around Bayonne, but just across the river Manhattan shines in the sun. And it is the best way to get to the city. Our friend, the high-powered Wall Street attorney, has, it seems, ambiguous feeling about the state where he lives. He can see it from his office, behind the Statue of Liberty, and it does have its pleasures, putting all that business with The Sopranos aside.
