Saturday, November 8, 2008 – 1953 Formal

This may have been parked here by the park in Beverly Hills since the year Frank Sinatra began recording at Capitol Records up in Hollywood, the year Elvis Presley recorded for the first time as a kid back in Nashville. That would be 1953, and this is a 1953 Cadillac sedan, in formal black, parked in the shade not far from Beverly Hills City Hall. It hasn't been restored or anything – it hasn't even been washed. Perhaps there's a rift in the space-time continuum nearby, and of course this Cadillac just popped through for the moment.
