Thursday, December 11, 2008 – True Hollywood
That would be Sunset and Vine of course, now with Yuppie condos –

Okay, Lana Turner wasn't discovered while sipping a soda at Schwab's Drug Store after school one day – just something the promotional folks made up. And Schwab's Drug Store wasn't here – it was two miles west on Sunset, at Laurel Avenue, not Vine. And the fake for-the-tourists Schwab's Drug Store here at Sunset and Vine went under. All that's left is the sign, referencing nothing in particular. But it is Hollywood history, after all.
