Thursday, September 17, 2009 – The Last Hippie

San Francisco in the summer of 1967, Woodstock in the summer of 1969, and Venice Beach in September of 2009 – perhaps what we have here is the last Hippie, relaxing in his custom home in the parking lot at the end of Rose Avenue, where America ends at the edge of the Pacific. And you thought all that was all over long ago.
