Friday, September 4, 2009 – Venice Town Hall
The August town-hall meetings across America were supposed to be about healthcare reform, but turned out to be about many other things, like anger and fear at a rather primitive level. That rang a bell. That town-hall meeting goes on perpetually down in Venice. It's the "New World Border" mural in the parking lot behind the offices of The Social and Public Art Resource Center, SPARC, 685 Venice Boulevard. Yeah, that looks familiar.
