Friday, May 14, 2010 – Essential Venice
You say you're stuck in gritty Cleveland at the end of a long week, and it's dreary and looks like rain, and your best-regular-season-record-in-the-league basketball team just got bounced out of the NBA playoffs by those creaky old guys from Boston, and there you sit, by the edge of that dead lake, trapped and dejected in dark Cleveland? You obviously need a bit of Southern California. You need a bit of Venice Beach.
