Families are odd, and it's an odd story – when Bette Davis first moved to Hollywood, she and her mother lived in a crappy West Hollywood apartment, but they could see the fancy Colonial House on Havenhurst Drive from their window, and when Bette Davis made it big in the movies, and had a ton of money, she moved there, to prove something or other to her skeptical mother. Families are complicated. Colonial House is just down the street, and the Bette Davis apartment, restored to perfection, is now for sale – at 1416 Havenhurst Drive – if you too have something to prove to your mother. But be warned. The place is just a few feet down the hill from the Sunset Strip, and the Strip isn't exactly family friendly. At the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Havenhurst Drive there's that David Green sculpture, The Family, and they don't look very happy –
