At the Hollywood Gateway, at Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea, it seems someone is having a bit of fun with the statue of Mae West. Its kind of cool and takes you back to April 1971 and Jim Morrison and the Doors. You remember LA Woman:
I see your hair is burning, Hills are filled with fire. If they say I never loved you, You know they are a liar. Drivin' down your freeway, Midnight alleys roam. Cops in cars, topless bars, never saw a woman So alone, so alone, so alone, so alone
It's like that.

More hair on fire, at Pink Pepper, a secluded Thai restaurant just down the street from the giant stainless steel Mae West, and a good place catch celebrities off guard. They eat too, just like the rest of us.
