The Hollywood of Raymond Chandler - an old Art Deco office building, no doubt full of wise-cracking cynical detectives in fedoras, right on Hollywood Boulevard at Highland.
And if you click on the image for the large version, you can check out the stern but patriotic metal eagles on the roof, and other odd detail, like the metal fire escape (good shadows) from this top octagonal office.
One of my favorite buildings in Hollywood….
