Sunshine popped out in Paris and the temperatures shot up to over 20 degrees, tripling last week's score.  Mild nights forced us out to a vernissage on Wednesday which was followed by a simple dinner at the 'As du Fallafel.'  On Friday the excursion was to help Irish poet John Montague become even more famous at the Irish Cultural Centre in the 5th, which led naturally to the 'Academie des Bieres' at Port Royal for moules-frites.  Saturday has been a bit slow with only a trek to the Parc André Citroen where the balloon was found to be waiting for riders.  Then up the quays to the Tour Eiffel, which is holding up nicely while surrounded by the usual mobs.
