This Week's Cars - 1949 Buick Super Sport Convertible Eight Flaming Fenders Oddities


	This was parked at the Mobil station on the southwest corner of Sunset and Highland, Thursday afternoon, September 7 - and no one was paying much attention to it. It's Hollywood, after all. (After taking these shots and turning onto Highland, Angelyne's Corvette - see top page - pulled up on my bumper, and I let her pass, and followed her to the shoot up on the Boulevard.)


	The age of cars is over out here? This Vespa is sitting pretty on Sunset in Guitar Row. There's a big Vespa dealership over the hill on Ventura Boulevard. That may be the future.

These were shot with a Nikon D70 - using lens (1) AF-S Nikkor 18-70 mm 1:35-4.5G ED, or (2) AF Nikkor 70-300mm telephoto, or after 5 June 2006, (3) AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor, 55-200 mm f/4-5.6G ED. They were modified for web posting using Adobe Photoshop 7.0
