You say the economy is collapsing? Not in this neighborhood, just off the Sunset Strip. In the parking lot behind Sunset Plaza, a new Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren – list price (MSRP) $507,500, with a dealer invoice of $471,975. Only 3,500 of these will ever be built, and production ends this year. This is the last of them.

Yes, when Paris Hilton was arrested for drunk driving, she was driving hers.  But she was nowhere to be seen, so this probably isn't her car – just someone else, doing well in hard times.  It's Hollywood.
