Walking Melrose Avenue in the last days of an odd year – and on the sidewalk at "Off the Wall" there's new Americana to cheer you up –
Ah, the majorette in the window is perky!
But whatever the New Year brings, in the alley out back, a reminder of the old year soon to be gone –
Ah, nearby, one-eyed zygotes of hope and renewal (with gloves) for the New Year, that shine in the sun (or the lens flare) –
An eye on the past with the future peeping through, or something like that –
Maybe the New Year is still in its embryonic stages –
And coming soon to a theater near you –
And you know someone will mess things up, as they always do –
It's all a mystery –
If you wish to use any of these photos for commercial purposes I assume you'll discuss that with me. And should you choose to download any of these images and use them invoking the "fair use" provisions of the Copyright Act of 1976, please provide credit, and, on the web, a link back to this site.
