The first corner is the southeast corner of First and La Brea. That's where you find Nick Metropolis, the prop house. Studio art directors go here to find things to dress their sets – he rents props. And Nick buys them too, for inventory. Someone will one day need something odd. And this is new on the lot. And by the way, Nick is from Rochester, New York – he went to Brighton High. He's not mad as a hatter or anything like that. He just rules over a mad corner of Los Angeles now.
The second corner is the northwest corner of Beverly and La Brea. There you find the big kosher vitamin store – yes, they specialize in strictly kosher vitamins. There is a market for those. But they just cannot keep their east wall clear. LA street artists can't be stopped.
