Tuesday, October 13, 2009 – A Dark Day
It was a movie set, one of those rare dark days in Hollywood, with low menacing clouds and periods of heavy rain, and deadly quiet when the rain stopped for a time. But the rain came back soon enough. The place went all Film Noir for a day, with the misty wet streets and hard existential questions hanging in the air. It was a mean streets Raymond Chandler day – The Big Sleep and The Long Goodbye and Farewell, My Lovely, all day long. Here's Wilcox and Sunset.
