The Hollywood studios finally figured it out. Hire the very best local graffiti artists to create your wall-sized movie promotions. It's not exactly viral marketing, where you plant fake word-of-mouth, but it is far from the usual cookie-cutter corporate billboards on every corner. Each of these is unique and oddly authentic, even if just transitory commercial art that will been gone soon enough.
The one is down on Melrose Avenue, for a new ninja movie of some sort, and it's almost finished.
