Hollywood Boulevard was shut down for much of the week – in the middle of the week it was the World Premiere of the new Terminator movie at the Chinese Theater, and Saturday it was the premiere of the new Disney-Pixar movie Up – at Disney's flagship movie palace, the lovingly restored El Capitan. The story: "By tying thousands of balloons to his home, 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America. Right after lifting off, however, he learns he isn't alone on his journey, since Russell, a wilderness explorer 70 years his junior, has inadvertently become a stowaway on the trip."
It's supposed to be charming. The balloons were nice.
