Earth Memories – 1996, Eva Cockcroft with Edwin R. Perez, Eric Neiman and Jaime "Vyal" Reyes –

The block-long 1996 Earth Memories mural is on Beverly Boulevard at Belmont Avenue, on the north retaining wall at the Belmont High School football field. In addition to Cockcroft, Perez, Neiman and Reyes, the students and teachers of Belmont High pitched in. Some highs schools put on a musical each spring, and some create a mural. This one is in an evolutionary timeline that reads from right to left (west to east), starting with the formation of the planets, working up through the dinosaurs and ending up with modern Los Angeles, which indeed is just to the left of the mural. The details are far better than the whole.
