It's hard to keep up with these things, but there is this television show Chelsea Lately – on cable, and very hip, or something. Chelsea Handler, the host, is one sarcastic woman, and the show is sort of pop culture roundtable thing, with features and skits. But Handler hates celebrities and doesn't think much of pop culture. But she has this quite popular show on the silly Entertainment Network – E! It's a little confusing – the show sort of disappears into its own self-referential irony. But her production company – Borderline Amazing Productions – was in Venice Beach on Thursday at Windward Plaza, filming deeply ironic pathetic street dancing. Make of it what you will. |
