People come to Los Angeles from all over the world to visit The Museum of Jurassic Technology – 9341 Venice Boulevard, at the north end of Culver City's Main Street. Wikipedia explains this museum – where you can see a sculpture of Pope John Paul II carved from a single human hair and placed within the eye of a needle. Actually, the place is a bit obscure. A block south is The Culver Hotel – that's where most of the cast of The Wizard of Oz stayed during filming of the movie in 1939 just down the street at MGM. The hotel's restaurant is called Munchkins, as in 1939 they kind of took over the hotel. This is an odd corner of the world.
