April ends with Hollywood Boulevard closed down again – for another movie premiere at the Chinese Theater. It's another Star Trek movie – the eleventh one now, and the first in seven years. Star Trek is the franchise that has kept Paramount afloat for decades, so in tough times you go back to what works. The stars arrive at six in the evening, and just after noon they're in the middle of setting up. The odd fans are arriving already – muttering that it's not fair that they didn't invite William Shatner to even make a cameo in this one. It's just another day in Hollywood.
